  This marzipan fall cake consists in fruit cake covered with a layer of light gooseberry green marzipan. Like most fall cakes this classic acorn cake design appears frequently at autumn weddings.   fall cake picture        
           
           
  The marzipan oak leaves are made using the same light gooseberry green marzipan that has been used to cover the cake, The oak leaves have been sprayed a light tint of brown to match the fall season. Melted chocolate was applied on the rear of every leaf in order to give it the rigidity after the chocolate dried up.

    Marzipan acorns   The marzipan acorns are made using a brighter green. Once the basic acorn shape has been made the top of the acorn is painted brown. All the colors of the cake have been carefully chosen in order keep in harmony with the autumnal season.
